ABOUT US

Greenfield Keep the Promise all started in November 2014. Imagineaction  called Greenfield Elementary School asking if Ms. Diane Lewis would like to take 2 Students to Ottawa with her. So, the School immediately took action and asked all 3 Grade 6 classes who would like to apply. All Students had to write an Essay on why they would be a good Representative to go to Ottawa, and also answer questions on the CBRM

Within a week, the school decided which students that Ms. Lewis will take. They chose Adam MacLean and Joella MacIsaac.

On November 17, 2014, Ms. Lewis, Joella, and Adam Left for Ottawa. We knew that when we came back to Cape Breton, we had to do some work. So, We decided to ask the other applicants if they would like to be Members of a Greenfield KTP Lead Team, and write a book throuth self-publisher: Blurb Books, and maybe do some other stuff.

When we came back, we asked them all and 7 people said yes. We came up with some ideas, and decided to plan our own Mini Youth Summit on Child Poverty. The book is now finished, and an E-Version is available on the Home Page.
